Laura Linney Bilder Linney's acting career began on the stage. In fact, she was involved in theater almost since birth, working alongside her playwright father, Romulus. She appeared in Broadway's The Seagull, Six Degrees of Separation, and Hedda Gabler. In 1992 she made her film debut in Lorenzo's Oil. Linney appeared in the acclaimed PBS series Tales of the City and the sequel Further Tales of the City (2000). She landed a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her performance in 2000's You Can Count on Me. Her other film credits include Searching for Bobby Fischer (1993), Primal Fear (1996), Absolute Power (1997), and The Truman Show (1998). ENTER HERE |
